Following his weekend campaigning, Trump is set to attend a town hall event with Sean Hannity the day before the next GOP presidential debate. The town hall is set to take place Tuesday in Davenport, Iowa. Trump will not attend next Wednesday’s debate and will instead hold a private fundraiser in Florida.
On average, polling out of Iowa still gives Trump a strong 24-point lead over DeSantis. This comes despite the Florida governor’s push to make the Iowa Caucus the be-all and end-all for his presidential campaign. Nikki Haley is making inroads with Iowa caucus voters but remains in third place.
Trump will spend a lot of time in Iowa over December leading up to the Iowa caucuses which are scheduled to take place on January 15 in just over a month.
