Saudi official in 9/11 FBI report can have identify disclosed by U.S.

WASHINGTON — The U.S. will disclose the identify of a Saudi citizen sought by legal professionals for victims of the Sept. 11 assaults who need to hyperlink the dominion to the terrorist plot.

The Justice Division mentioned in a courtroom submitting Thursday that it’s going to disclose the identify to legal professionals for survivors & victims’ family. It is going to even be offered to legal professionals for the Saudi authorities.

The legal professionals consider the individual was a Saudi official who assigned two males in California to help two of the hijackers.

The person’s identify was redacted in a 2012 FBI report on the case.

The Justice Division says the “FBI has long been committed to providing the families of the victims” vith transparency about its investigation.
